You can practically feel the heartbeat of the city from the impressive InterContinental Tokyo Bay. Convenient for business or pleasure travel, the hotel puts you in easy reach of business, shopping and entertainment centres including the World Trade Center Tokyo, Shiodome and Ginza. The Imperial Palace and Shiki Theatre provide tastes of culture.
We arrived shortly before 10pm after one hellish flight, checkin was efficient and painless...what else would you expect from such an amazing country. The furnishings in the lobby area seemed opulent and premium. The newly installed Veuve Clicquot lounge was a treat, if somewhat pricey. Rooms are adequately furnished and suited my needs perfectly, Wifi is pretty decent and can be found throughout the hotel. Definite do's: Do try the Japanese bread at breakfast, get yourself an unlimited data sim (should cost around ¥4000 for 7 days) visit the classic car museum. All in all, i had an amazing stay and the staff at the intercontinental made it that more pleasant!
Great hotel in on of the Best Cities in the World
